Sticky Honey & Soy Salmon

Perfect for a family meal over a bank holiday weekend!


Serves 2.


  • 2 skinless salmon fillets

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger

  • ½ teaspoon chilli flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 80 ml soy sauce

  • Handful of coriander (garnish)

  • 115g Wesley Cottage Bees honey

Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Put the salmon fillets in a oven proof dish. Mix the marinade ingredients.Pour half of the marinade on the salmon and save the other half for later. Marinate the salmon in the refrigerator for 1 hour.


Put the salmon in the pre heated oven. Cook salmon for approximately 12-15 minutes.

Serve the salmon with the remainder of the marinade as a sauce and a side of green vegetables with new potatoes or rice noodles.
